2 High-Impact Entrepreneurs from Lebanon get selected to the global Endeavor Network of out-performing entrepreneurs

EndeavorEndeavor selected unanimously 2 High-Impact Entrepreneurs from Lebanon at its 40th International Selection Panel in Amman, Jordan.
Labib Shalak from Mobinets, a telecom software provider, and Jad Khoury of Printworks, a printing and fabrication solution provider to the direct marketing industry are now part of the 631 High-Impact Entrepreneurs from 399 companies in 12 emerging market countries that Endeavor supports. The entrepreneurs are among the first to be selected from Lebanon since Endeavor Lebanon began operations in January 2011, increasing the total number of Endeavor Entrepreneurs from Lebanon to five. Fares I. Fares, Chairman of Endeavor Lebanon said “this is the second International Selection Panel we participate in and are delighted to have presented such strong candidates. The success to date of Jad and Labib reflects the quality of the talent we have in Lebanon and showcases to the world the caliber of businesses coming out of Lebanon.”
The International Selection Panel is the culmination of a rigorous multi-step Search & Selection process where top local and international business leaders interview and then offer guidance to entrepreneur candidates. “We are thankful for having received so much support from the Lebanese business community in helping us review and select our candidates” said Tarek Sadi, Managing Director of Endeavor Lebanon. “Jad and Labib are fantastic entrepreneurs and great role models. We are committed in helping them grow their businesses to the next level and supporting them in creating jobs and strengthening our economy.”
At the ISP in Jordan, participating panelists came from Uruguay, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States. Once entrepreneurs are selected, Endeavor provides them with customized services through our local and global business mentors and volunteers from Fortune 500 consulting firms and top U.S. business schools.
